Thousand Locks For Cancer is a amazing organization founded by Tricia Chaves, creator of Cover Look Collection. The organization aims to collect 1,000 ponytails worldwide to make wigs for women with cancer or undergoing treatment who cannot afford them.
Hair is your gift that keeps growing back. You can give comfort and confidence over and over again, no matter your age, gender, race or social status.
If you have an 8-inch or longer “virgin” ponytail (with no harsh chemical treatments) that’s less than five percent gray, you can donate it to be made into a wig for a woman who needs it. Even if you aren’t comfortable growing and cutting your hair there are still lot’s of ways to contribute! Please pledge to volunteer your time or resources – no matter how big or small, your support makes a difference!
